Ty'pel grew up as a typical Vulcan
child, with a deep adherence to logic. Both of his parents were Starfleet officers,
although unlike Ty'pel there were both science officers. Ty'pel grew up unfocused by
Vulcan standards, instead of focusing on one field of study like his parents had hoped.
Ty'pel seemed to dapple in all fields. Everything interested Ty'pel, from science to
tactical. As he grew Ty'pel knew that Starfleet was when he was suppose to be. Ty'pel
excepted it with open arms. As Ty'pel entered into Starfleet Academy he was forced to
choose a single area of study. At first this displeased him, but upon further study he
found that Starfleet had a job exactly fit him, Operations. The Operations officer was a
jack of all trades, dealing with ever system in the ship from the medical to engineering.
Ty'pel excelled at his studies and by the time he graduated, he was in the top 25% of his
class. His first posting was aboard the U.S.S. Wyoming. He served well aboard her and in
six years was promoted to Lt. (Jg.) and given the Asst. Chief of Operations on the U.S.S.
Wellington. Aboard the Wellington Ty'pel learned much from his chief and in 2367 was
recommended for the Chief of Operations position aboard the U.S.S. Excalibur.
Aboard the Excalibur was the first time that Ty'pel meet Captain Garven Valos. Ty'pel
served well under him, and grew to respect and even call Captain Valos a friend (as much
as a Vulcan can). Typel keeps in touch with him as much as possible.
In 2371 he was transferred to the U.S.S. Tecumseh where as in the past he severed with
distention.
In 2376 Ty'pel was transfer to the U.S.S. Tomar.
